In this fast paced and technologically advanced world that we live in these days, it is important to slow down and see God’s presence in our lives and the world around us.
When we are continually running and doing things, we have a tendency to miss out on God all around us.
Slow down and take time to see God’s presence….
… Feel the gentle wind sweep across your body
…View in awe the different clouds and cloud formations God put in the sky for us to behold
…Be amazed at how the trees rebirth every year
…Consider the wild flowers that just grace the fields
…Soak up His Spirit in the warmth of the sun beating down upon you
…Watch the graceful birds that soar in the sky singing God’s praises
…Marvel at the amazing creatures like deer, rabbits, chipmunks that roam around
The sun peeking through the cool cloud formation over the Atlantic Ocean.
It is most important to slow down and take time to see God’s presence…
…In each person God places in your path…yes, from the stranger you hold the door open for to your best friend.
We are all made in God’s image; that makes each person a treasure! He loves each of us with an everlasting love.
Get to know your “neighbor”…
Understand why they are like they are….
Take time to see where they’ve been…
What joys and sorrows they’ve endured….
Treat all with respect…
Serve all you meet….
In doing these things your life will be enriched even more!

Slow down and take time to see God’s presence…
…In the silence
…In the peace and solitude
…In tranquil times.
May we try not to let the busyness of this life distract us too much.
Slow down and take time to see God’s presence all around us….in all of nature, every person we encounter, and even in the silence.
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. –Colossians 1:17 (NIV)
Do not run until your feet are bare and throat is dry. But you said, “It’s no use! I love foreign gods, and I must go after them.” –Jeremiah 2:25 (NIV)
Thank you, Christine.
Thanks for reading and blessing me, Sandy!
I was racing this morning with unfinished projects and goals. It is good to have goals – but sometimes too serious about them to take time to smell the roses. This post really says it well! Thanks Christine
You are so right, Mary Ann! It’s always about finding that balance between goals and smelling the roses! Thanks for reading and blessing me!
You have inspired me to “look up” at the sky and see God’s beauty in wonder in the clouds and sunsets. Now I am taking pictures of them. I even saw a rainbow inside a cloud a few weeks ago!!! I am taking time to see God at work…..
Thanks for your kind words, Carol! I’m loving your pictures too!! It’s great to see Him at work all around us…what a wonderful Creator He is!
Thank you, Christine, for the outlook to begin seeing God’s handiwork in every person I encounter.
