Our life on this earth is filled with choices!
God has given us the freedom of free will which applies to both simple, daily choices and long lasting life altering choices that impact the Kingdom of God.

Sure, there are the simple, daily choices like what we will wear today, what our next meal will be, and what we do when. And, yes, I’m one that struggles more with making those simple choices, ones that don’t really impact the spiritual aspect of our journey here on this earth.
What about the choices that have a deeper, lasting affect on us and the way we live?
…When we have some disease that debilitates us or have a child who strays from the path, how do we choose to deal with it?
…When the chips are down in our lives and things appear hopeless, what do we choose to do then?

Aren’t we so much better off if we choose to handle these trials in our lives with a positive, encouraging attitude? What good does it do us to be negative and blaming everyone for the problems we have?
**********
This week I choose to encourage you to look at the different events or circumstances that occur in your life, even the little things like when a car suddenly tries to cut you off, and see if you can:
Choose to look at the positive
Choose to be in a good mood
Choose the higher road
Choose to step outside your comfort zone
Choose to live life fully
Choose to love all
Choose to extend forgiveness
Choose to be kind
Choose to pray for all
Choose to encourage others
Choose to be there for those who might be alone
Choose to draw closer to God
Choose to build others up
Choose to speak life
Choose faith

Attitude, after all, is everything!
Let’s impact the Kingdom of God together!
In the comment section below would you share a time or two when you made a choice that impacted the Kingdom of God for the better? Thank you in advance for sharing!
This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice, and hold fast to Him. For the Lord is your life… –Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (NIV)
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. –Proverbs 18:21 (NIV)
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. –Revelation 3:20 (NIV)
Love this! Love your heart! So many choices and so often life beats us up and give up trying to see the good, the wonderful and the love. thanks for reminding us to keep looking
Yes, Marie, you are right. Sometimes life beats us up and it is easy to focus on the negative. Thank you for spreading JOY to so many like you do and thanks for your kind, encouraging words! Blessings~
Hi Christine. Gods been working in my heart to choose grace and also to live loved. If I live loved(meaning walking in the fullness of who God is) then I don’t have to expect anything from anyone and be a slave to my emotions and assumptions.I can choose to live loved then I can extend grace just as Jesus did for me. Its hard not to go into a situation and not want something in return, but thru Christ we can.
Thank you so much for sharing the choices God has been showing you, Patty! Yes to choose grace and to live loved are great choices. And, you are so right…only thru Christ in us we can do that. Thanks for reading!
It is our choices that define the life we live.
Dropping by to say Happy Mother’s Day to you!
Amen, Lux! Thank you for your sweet wishes! I’m so honored to know you! As always, thanks for reading and blessing!
