LETTING GO
Letting go can be a difficult task for most of us I believe.
Have you ever thought about that we are not alone in our letting go?
What are some common things we might have to let go of?
–The security of our familiar surroundings if a job relocates us
–Our good health when suddenly an unexpected crisis occurs
–The close proximity of a child who moves half way across the world
–A relationship that can not be reconciled
–A person whom we love dearly passes from this life
–When the direction of your life might not line up with God’s way

A TIME OF REFRESHMENT
What constitutes a time of refreshment for you?
For me, this past Thursday-Sunday provided me with my personal definition of a time of refreshment.
–Time at a peaceful, beautiful holy place on a lake
–A peaceful, scenic drive soaking in God’s wondrous creation
–Walking outside to see the lake and the sun
–A simple room with just a bed & small desk/chair/sink
–No other place to go
–No other commitments or activities to do
–No other outside people vying for my attention
–Quiet time alone
–Serving others in Christ

JUST BE HELD
Where your passion meets your compassion there is your gift.
This past week I believe one of my passions met not only my compassion but God’s compassion too. I sensed His presence.
I marvel at God’s orchestrating people and circumstances in our lives. As I’m sure you know by now one of my passions is to hold babies and love on them. There’s just something so sweet and precious about snuggling with this loving, innocent creation that God formed. Continue reading “JUST BE HELD”
