This holiday season, I was blessed to be able to attend a musical production of A Christmas Carol performed by junior and senior high school students. School musicals are always enjoyable to watch, and I am in awe of the students’ abilities to perform so wonderfully at such a young age. It is not a gift that I have ever possessed. It was fitting that a sermon I heard also mentioned A Christmas Carol that same weekend, which inspired this reflection.
